| The face of hunger and food insecurity has changed, but why does our intervention process remain unchanged? |
We solicit your comments on this topic due to the
lack of fair appropriation of funds and food items
to those who have the greatest need. We believe
that hunger and food intervention should be color
blind! There is an overwhelming number of
emergency food providers in Southeastern lower
Michigan, why? The focus on ethnic minorities in
our State with respect to hunger and homelessness
is reprehensible. What do you think?

| The state of Hunger in Michigan |
It is interesting how little we know about this
issue that affects us all. We all know someone
who is struggling to make ends meet and is in
dire need of help! How dire is the hunger
situation in our state? Let's spread the word
now! Hunger is not a welfare issue it is a people
in need issue! Do you agree? Tell us what you
think. We will compile your comments and
suggestions and present them to our legislators
in Lansing.
