In 1989 semfco became the Hunger Action Coalition of Michigan(HACM). Today HACM's mission is to mobilze all segments of the communities in the state of michigna to focus on and actively shape just legislation relative to food and nutrition. HACM is currently engaged in several projects working with a diverse group of people to eliminate hunger in michigan. our next collaborative is with Psychological Assests of Southfield Michigan to produce a working model to eliminate hunger and its effects from a psycho-social perspective.
